Lux Health is now offering the famous Vampire Series! This includes

  • Vampire Facials
    • Involves micro-needling the skin and then coating the skin with PRP. The micro-needling creates tiny punctures in the skin, which allows for the deeper penetration of PRP. It aims to rejuvenate the skin by stimulating collagen production, resulting in smoother, firmer, and more youthful-looking skin.
  • Vampire Face Lift
    • Unlike the facial, the Vampire Facelift involves injecting PRP directly into the skin along with hyaluronic acid fillers. This procedure aims to reduce wrinkles and add volume to the face, providing a lifting effect.
  • Vampire Breast Lift
    • Similar to the facelift, this procedure uses PRP injections in the breast area. The goal is to improve breast shape, skin quality, and sensitivity. It's not a substitute for a surgical breast lift but is used for subtle enhancements and skin texture improvement.
  • Vampire Hair Restoration
    • A micro-needling procedure with PRP injected into the scalp

The "Vampire" series of procedures, developed by Dr. Charles Runels, involves a collection of cosmetic treatments that use platelet-rich plasma (PRP) as a key component. These procedures have gained popularity in aesthetic medicine for their use of the body's natural healing properties.

What is PRP?

  1. PRP is a concentration of platelets in plasma, a component of your blood. To prepare PRP, a small amount of blood is drawn from the patient. This blood is then spun in a centrifuge to separate its components. The process concentrates the platelets, which are known for their healing properties, in a small volume of plasma.

  2. Platelets are key factors in the body's natural healing process. They contain growth factors that stimulate tissue regeneration and repair. These growth factors can promote collagen production, skin renewal, and healing, which makes PRP a popular choice in regenerative medicine and aesthetic treatments.

Are you noticing decreased collagen in your skin or hair thinning throughout your scalp? What about uneven cleavage or rippling in between the breasts? Are you looking for a facial refresh without the cost of surgery?

These procedures are done using the patient's own platelet-rich plasma and used on the body to increase collagen production as well as healing. There is minimal allergy risk and this procedure helps to enhance the immune system. Studies have shown "persistent improvement beginning 5-7 days after injection for -90% of patients with up to 30 months follow up".
